Rashmi Biswas MSc Executive Vice-President
Rashmi Biswas

Rashmi is an organizational development and workplace learning expert with a particular focus on leadership. In prior roles Rashmi successfully led large teams, held profit and loss accountability, and gained extensive business experience within corporate and academic arenas in Canada, the USA, and the UK.

With a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Adult Education, Facilitation and Training, Rashmi bridges theory and practice sharing over two decades of cross-sector insights with Clients. Rashmi works with leaders across public, and private sector organizations, and has provided consulting services in Canada, South America, Asia, and the Middle East.

Working with a range of Canadian nonprofit organizations prompted Rashmi to examine the unique challenges facing senior leaders within the sector. This led to a research project for the Lake team resulting in the development of the Performance Pendulum™, an original leadership framework designed specifically to address the complexities of leading in contemporary nonprofit and social-profit environments.

In a volunteer capacity Rashmi is privileged to serve as Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors for Niagara College. And although a keen traveller, Rashmi’s favourite place to be is at the barn with her horse Major.
